Expansion and Revamping of Ahmadi Depot
The project encompasses the installation of 11 internal floating roof tanks and multiproduct loading facilities, that enhanced the loading flexibility at Al-Ahmadi Depot.This expansion and revamping initiative aimed to maximize the strategic stock, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of products to the local market in the event of a disruption in the Refinery supply system.
New AGRP at Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery
In alignment with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation's (KPC) strategy to minimize gas and condensate flaring to less than 1%, a new Acid Gas Removal Plant (AGRP) unit will be constructed.This unit is designed to treat all sour gas received from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), effectively removing sulfur and carbon dioxide before the gas is processed in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Trains.
New North LPG Tank Farm
The project involves the demolition of the existing North Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Tank Farm and the construction of 10 new LPG Tanks, with 5 of those allocated for propane and 5 for butane, each with a capacity of 72,350 cubic meters.This new North LPG Tank Farm will provide larger storage capacity to accommodate growing LPG production and enhance the reliability of LPG export loading operations.
