KNPC Virtualized Firefighting Drill

Security and Fire carried out a drill on fighting various kinds of fires using virtual reality technology, attended by a number of Company’s engineers, as the Division Acting Manager, Awadh Salem wished participants success, while praising and hoping that the new technology will form a performance addition.

The training collaboratively conducted with the major provider of this new technology in the Middle East, Safety and Fire Experts Company, involved in the safety systems since 2003, was presented by engineer Duaij Al-Zafiri who explained how virtual reality enables live experience of fire in 35 different locations, before it evaluates and points the trainees’ areas of improvement.

“The drill seeks to train as many staff as possible on quick and effective fire control, while cutting on extinguishers materials and maintenance”, added Experts Operation Manger, Ali Al-Owfi.
